Yesterday, Amelie and I were sitting on the big wooden swing in my backyard talking. Our chat began talking about the mama robin caring for her babies in a nest just outside my bedroom window. She is so full of wonder and curiosity! Following is a part of that conversation:
Amelie: I want to fly, Granny. Angels can fly. When I go to heaven, I'm going to fly like an angel.
Granny: Perhaps, so.
Amelie: I'm going to heaven, Granny. Will you be there, too?
Granny: Oh, yes! I certainly will!
Amelie: Everybody is going to heaven, right Granny?
Granny: Well, everybody that loves Jesus will go to heaven.
Amelie: I love Jesus, Granny! Do you?
Granny: Yes, Amelie, I love Jesus!
My prayer is that I will be always ready for God's leading in the lives of our precious grandchildren that He has entrusted to us.
It is truly a blessing to have such wonderful grandparents that love the Lord and want to help raise our children to love Him as well!
