Many folks generally associate Cape May, New Jersey, with warm sunny beaches, the Promenade and Painted Ladies. Then there are images such as the first one below. In it, my grandkids, Naomi, Hadassah and Joshua are watching the sun set on the shores of Sunset Beach, Cape May, NJ.
But, oh my! Who ever thinks of Cape May with blizzard conditions and two feet of snow! In this photo, the family horses were finally released from their stalls after the storm finally passed. We are thankful, though. My son and his family were not one of the 80,000 that lost power out of the 125,000 year-round residents! Thank you, Lord!
This is a picture of their pool. Brrrrr! Looking at it now certainly does not evoke the same feeling that it did last summer!
We won't miss you snowstorms of 2009-2010, but you sure will have made spring and summer all the more sweeter!
